Lawn aeration requires punching holes in your lawn’s surface, reducing surface compaction, and allowing air to permeate the ground. These holes also create a path for water and fertilizer to easily reach the root zone beneath the turf, helping ensure a thick lawn.
Our professionals recommend aerating your lawn at minimum every other year but for best results would suggest yearly service. This service is done in the Fall because it allows the lawn to recover from the harsh summer heat and in Kansas most homes have cool-season grass. The optimal time for aeration is from September to the end of October. Works best with our Step-7 Lawn Fertilizer.
